Acai is a supplement with numerous nutritional uses. Acai is a rich source of antioxidants, vitamins, essential fatty acids, and amino acids. In nature, anthocyanidins give many fruits and flowers their colors. This pigment is where fruits hold much of their antioxidant powers. The colors of anthocyanidins are often determined by whether an acid or alkili salt is present. When an acid salt is present then the color is reddish, when an alkili salt is present then the color is blue or violet.
This product is carefully dehydrated, removing around 5 parts of water from every 6 parts of the fruit, and cut into tiny flakes (not powder) and encapsulated without the use of any flow agents, fillers, or preservatives. The Acai used is dark purple, almost black, in color and when rubbed between fingers will leave an oily feel because of it’s high essential fatty acid content. We have seen a couple samples from other vendors claiming to have extracts that do not have the color, nor oily feel of this product.

I have been using this product for a little time I have not been able to evaluate the possible outcome, and besides that I was supposed to receibe a supplementary product to be used in conjunction with Açai Berry and it never got to my hands.
Highly acidic

I tried this product for a week and wondered why my stomach was burning like fire within an hour after I took the capsules. I discontinued it for several days to rule out a virus or flu, and determined that it was due to the Acai product. Apparently it is a highly acidic fruit and unless you have been blessed with a cast iron gut then this may not be for you. Speaking for myself, I couldn’t tolerate it long enough to see if it actually does cause weight loss as alleged.
So far so good…

The package arrived earlier than I expected, which I was very pleased about. Very quick and efficient.
The packaging is exactly like the one that’s advertised.
If you’re planning on using this for a weight loss product, you need to get a colon cleanser as well and use it for a couple days.
Keep in mind, it took a while to put the weight on, don’t expect this to work miracles and lose the fat over night. It will take a while to start working.
I use it as an antioxidant and it really helps.
I plan on ordering more once I run out.
I will buy it again definitely.

I’ve been using it for a little over two weeks now. In conjunction with fish oil, vitamin B and St. John’s Wort, it’s helped improve my health (especially regularity). I would definitely buy it again, because of its antioxidant properties – I just feel better.

My wife and I have both been taking this for over 1 month and can honestly say we’ve noticed no difference in weight loss, energy levels or overall wellness.

This is listed as “AmerMed-Acai Berry Extract 1000mg Formula” – actually takes 3 capsules to make that 1000 mg. I can’t believe I was fooled by this because I was actually looking for it – some of the other formulas are 500mg and advertise “1000 mg serving” and in an effort to avoid that I did worse. So, do the math accordingly; if you want 1000 mg/day, multiply by three. Other formulations are a better deal, especially since this one doesn’t have free Amazon shipping.

Product was advertised as 1000 mg strength. Product delivered required taking 3 tablets to equal 1000 mg. That, to me, is false advertising. That, to me, is a vendor that I do not want to do business with again.
