I have read other people’s reviews and was laughing hysterically.
Do you really believe this product is going to save you from autoimmune or other disorders?
And according to one review it is full of antioxidants??? ARE YOU SERIOUS?
How do you know? Or you are from the company who is selling this really chalky powder on recent ACAI HYPE??
Everybody, please just stick to taste, flavor, price etc in your reviews. Do not give poor people ideas some product that has absolutely no proven evidence on any facts it is good for you is going to help with disease or any health problems!
Do not waste you monies, this product will do nothing for you health wise!
Taste is OK, nothing very special. If you want to add to smoothies, it is not bad.
However do not fall for miracle food advertising!

We’ve gone through three jars. We make a smoothie in the a.m. Gives a nice energy boost without jitters and keeps you regular. Not a weight loss product, but definitely has advantages. I feel more mentally alert and less susceptible to stress.

I don’t know that I noticed more energy, but probably more focus… especially when it came time for sleep. I found myself getting some deep sleep as opposed to my typical tossing and turning. Perhaps because of a day being more focused? Dunno… but that was only taking one dose a day. I’ll try one in the morning and at night to see how that works.
As far as the taste goes… I’d take mine with yogurt and couldn’t taste anything other than the yogurt. I think people complaining about it having a “dirt taste” are probably the rare case or thinking about it a bit too much.

I have been taking the Sambazon Acai caps for over a year. Before taking Acai, my energy level had been sluggish at best. This Acai does all that it says it does and more. I have lots of energy, I have lost 15 pounds, my hair and nails grows like a weed and other things I won’t mention. (As for the weight loss benefit, it helps to proceed with some self control.)I love this product!

I discovered a great off label use for Sambazon Acai and was very happy to find a source for it that was not as expensive as our local natural food store. After suffering from eczema for many years, I found that one capsule a day cleared up all of my inflammation. Dermatologists had always told me that it could not be cured; the itching could only be controlled with steroid creams. Now my son is trying it for the same reason since he has had severe flare-ups of eczema on his hands since infancy. I will continue to order it from Amazon.

Unfortunately acai isn’t the super diet supplement, but it does have high levels of antioxidants.This particular jar is by far the best way to buy,tast great when mixed in a blender and is the cheapest on the market.

I have no complaints about the item. I would not advise buying anything from Continual Youth vendor, however.
I recently received a shipping notice for my item, which I ordered almost a MONTH ago! The item still has not arrived. Email inquiries have all been unanswered. I ordered with a coupon code provided to me via a mass email, but the coupon did not take off the advertised amount. An email inquiry about this also was unanswered.
I should also mention that I placed this order because of a coupon offered after the vendor made an initial error, in exchange for leaving positive feedback (not the most honest business practice, in my opinion.) This vendor is bribing customers into leaving positive feedback.
Very disappointing experience all around.

The order I received was incorrect. Amazon quickly corrected the problem and sent me what I had ordered. This is a great product, but more importantly buy from a good vendor and at a good price. I am so glad I didn’t purchase this from another Website and especially in stores, which is much more expensive than Amazon.

Giving it 4 out of 5 stars only because it is hard to dissolve. I do love the product though. It is organic, free trade, well packaged, etc. I like to mix a scoop with blueberry/pomegranate or other dark berry juices and it is simply delicious. Again, it’s a little gritty and hard to dissolve, especially if you store it in the fridge, but I love the ACAI powder and am hooked. One scoop = three servings of fruit, so it’s good for you if nothing else, and I definitely feel it’s boosted my energy level and my metabolism and jump started my diet. I just ordered more….at $11.99 shipped you can’t beat it thanks Amazon!

I purchased this product because al the studies I read said the freeze dried product was the only product that worked because of high concentration, I was good on the stomach, great mixed with O.J, I did feel a bit more energy. All in all good Vitamins and Nutrients. I will buy again.

I knew from either reading an article or hearing about Acai that is was packed with antioxidants. I first tasted this when it caught my eye in walmart. A small, pricey Sambazon drink was 4.99, but I was so curious…I had to try it. It was DELICIOUS, however, not really in my budget for daily consumption. I was thrilled to find this acai powder on amazon…. especially for the price =)
Once you open it, make sure to store it in the fridge. The little scoop is included, there’s also oxygen absorption pack in the powder(just thought I would mention it because it scared me when it all the sudden appeared).
After experimenting, I have found my favorite way to use this powerscoop of Acai. I drink this every morning, and am happy to get my antioxidants =) I am going to share two different recipes if anyone would like to try:
1. Strawberry/Blueberry shake with Acai powerscoop
Handful each of frozen (or fresh) strawberries & blueberries
1 powerscoop Acai
splash of apple juice
1 1/2 cups original/plain soy milk
Ice cubes – # of is your preference on consistency
Blend until smooth. You can substitute regular milk, or do 1/2 milk 1/2 water…also, if no Apple Juice on hand, use a squeeze of honey. Also tasty with raspberries =)
*The next one I use because I am trying to gain weight*
Handful of blueberries
1 scoop of Strawberries & Cream Muscle Milk
1 powerscoop Acai
Splash AJ
1 cup Soy Milk
1/2 cup water
Ice cubes
Blend until smooth!
I highly recommend this product – Sambazon is high quality, you can’t beat the price!

ACAI Powerscoop Powder 90 Grams
According to the product literature, this ACAI powder by Sambazon is organic and USDA stamped. I wanted a good antioxidant supplement to take in addition to my other supplements. It is a deep purple color, tastes good, and easily dissolves in liquid. I take mine every morning mixed into my oat bran cereal or stir it into milk or juice. I have so far purchased 4 cans, and each can lasts for about one month. I find it gives me energy, and eliminates bloating and gas which I had before starting this product. It also seems to help my joints for mobility, which I assume is because it is acting on inflamation such as arthritis. I feel that my skin is looking better and I have recommended it to my son who has dry, sensitive skin. I am delighted with this product.

Excellent, But There Is Room for Improvement

This product is great for people who want a daily dose of 100% Acai with the cost or inconvenience of getting the frozen packs of Acai pulp or drinking an expensive, calorie-filled fruit drink that only contains a little acai. It’s incredibly easy to use (I put a scoop or two of this into a glass of juice) and very cost-effective.
I use this daily and feel like I’ve had some anti-oxidants even if I don’t have fresh berries or some other fruit handy. As for whether it works medically, who knows? Do blueberries “work”? Still, one eats them and hopes for the best. (Though fresh blueberries have other advantages, such as tasting great.)
I’m not using this stuff for weight loss, though actually I have lost about 5 lbs over the past few months. Not sure I can credit the Acai or just healthy living generally but I’m sticking with it for now.
I do have a couple of quibbles.
First, the “powder” doesn’t really dissolve. It’s more grit than powder. You sort of distribute it throughout a drink and hope it doesn’t all stick to the sides of the glass.
Second, it has an odd, slightly bitter taste that isn’t easily masked. Straight up in, say, water, it would really be like drinking coffee grounds. It’s only OK if you mix it with a juice with a strong flavor (e.g. orange, grapefruit etc.) Mixed with something mild, it might be a problem. The instructions tell you to put in any favorite juice or smoothie but I think you will need to figure out which beverage or smoothie masks the flavor to your satisfaction.
I hope Sambazon keeps making this product. I hope they also find a way to make it dissolve more thoroughly and taste better.

It’s been over two months since my original review in june…I was turned on to the benefits of acai back in december. As part of my new years resolution, I am drinking at least one spinach/fruit smoothie DAILY. For the last five months, I add one scoop of the Sambazon acai powder along with Green Vibrance powder to my smoothie. I am on my fifth jar of this stuff.
I haven’t felt this great since my 20′s! My body has transformed dramatically, but NOT overnight. If you are looking for a miracle potion, it doesn’t exist. However, I highly recommend acai powder with sensible diet/exercise. I have been using the Sambazon brand because it’s not overpriced like Monavie, and is easy to add to my smoothie. The slightly bitter taste doesn’t bother me and is not even noticable when mixed w/ fresh spinach, banana, mango, blueberry, strawberry, and rasberry.
Results speak for themself: it is now early august…in 7 months I went from 165lbs to 140lbs of lean muscle. My skin has cleared up completely and I feel great. Remember, gradual change will come with patience and lifestyle change.

not only is this a quality, delicious product, but its very convenient as well. typically acai needs to be kept frozen but i like the fact that sambazon has developed a shelf stable easy to use powder. sometime i mix with other fruit juices instead of water. a recent combo i tried was with the vita coco pure coco water. i left energized and hydrated.
